standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in
the world. Worldwide, there are 1.2 million Rotarians belong to
more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries.
Rotary International in Gt. Britain and Ireland (RIBI):
Here in the UK, we have 57,000 members in 1850 clubs, under the
aegis of RIBI. In District 1120 (Kent, parts of East Sussex and South East London)
we have more than 80 clubs.
Joining your local Rotary Club:
We are a friendly club and always interested in talking
to potential new Rotarians; so please contact us if our fellowship
and community projects appeal to your own sense of "giving
something back" to your local area. If you wish to help your local community and/or International community
through humanitarian service, you might consider joining our Club and
in the process, enjoy the friendship and fellowship of like minded
people. Friends of Rotary: If
you do not have the time to attend our weekly Thursday evening
meetings, through business or family reasons, you would still be
welcome to join our club. Not as a member, but as a Friend of Rotary
Club of Northfleet with Ebbsfleet. You will have the
same enjoyment and most of the privileges of being a member of the
Club. There is no joining or membership fee and it is good fun.
If you are a member, your Partner might also consider joining
Rotary as a member or as a Friend of Rotary. Please contact our Club Secretary for further details.
